When we got our second Saint 'Bobby' (Karmonbel high flyer by Lanebern) we primarily wanted a loving pet and companion to Monty but after meeting Kathy and seeing first hand her successes in the ring we decided maybe we should give showing a go.
We knew that Bobby would never be a 'group winner' but by attending a show with Kathy and meeting like minded dog lovers and showers we decided that as long as Bobby enjoyed it why not give it a go, Bobby had come from absolutely gorgeous parents so he had the right to be in the ring so hopefully we wouldnt embarrass Kathy and ourselves!
There has been a great deal of negative press concerning dog showing this past 12 months but we can honestly say that whilst attending shows this past 3 years, nationwide, and from local companion shows to crufts we have had the privelige to meet and befriend so many dog owners/showers/breeders and the welfare and enjoyment for the dogs is ALWAYS the number one concern.
Anyway....with LOTS of help and support from Kathy at 6 months of age Bobbys show journey began, it has been full of highs and lows and although he has not been that successful we have all (Bobby and Monty included) enjoyed every minute!
